Understanding Your Analytics Dashboard

Six tabs, each answering a different question about your corpus.

Updated July 20265 min read

Every project has an Analytics dashboard that updates live as you screen. Most tabs share a scope filter, all papers, included only, or excluded only, so you can look at your whole corpus or narrow in on just the studies that made the cut.

Overview

Your review's vital signs at a glance: how many papers are in each screening state, and how AI screening is progressing. It's the tab you land on, meant for a quick pulse-check rather than deep analysis.

Evidence Base

Publication trends over time and completeness of your evidence metadata (methodology type, theory tags, industry context). If that metadata is incomplete, a gap banner offers to enrich it automatically or tag it manually, useful before you rely on the Themes or QDA tabs, which both depend on it.

Geography

A world choropleth map plus a ranked bar chart, showing where the studies in your corpus were conducted, extracted from each abstract's stated study context when mentioned. Not every paper mentions a country explicitly, so treat gaps here as "not stated" rather than "zero".

Themes & Keywords

A keyword co-occurrence view (heatmap or network graph, your choice) showing which terms tend to appear together across your corpus, plus a keyword frequency chart. This is where you'll spot thematic clusters worth discussing in your review's synthesis.

AI & Quality

How well AI screening and human decisions agree, and where they diverge. This is the tab to check if you want a sense of how much manual override your review actually needed, useful evidence for your methodology write-up.

QDA Map

A qualitative descriptor analysis of your included corpus, positioning theory, theme, geography, method, and industry descriptors by how often they co-occur. See the dedicated QDA Map guide for how to read it and when to compute or refresh it.

Exporting a chart

Most charts have their own download menu (JPG or transparent PNG) in the corner of the card, independent of the project-wide export described in Exporting & the Audit Trail.
